Recently, 84 local nonprofit organizations completed a survey for the Volunteer Center. The survey showed these organizations engaged over 41,600 volunteers last year.
These same volunteers completed just over one million hours of service. The impact of a million volunteer hours is more than $23 million! Volunteers do make a difference. Kudos to those that help. Forty-one percent of the surveyed organizations said they need more volunteers. Can you help? These are a few opportunities posted on www.volunteercentermchenrycounty.org.
