Four new doctors join Centegra

CRYSTAL LAKE – Centegra Health System has hired for new doctors specializing in family medicine, cardiology and general surgery.

The hospital system is made up of more than 160 providers scattered throughout 13 locations.

Dr. Baby Than, a board-certified family medicine physician who received her doctorate of medicine from the Institute of Medicine in Myanmar, joins Centegra Physician Care-Huntley.

Dr. John R. Cheregi is a general surgeon with Centegra Physician Care-Surgical Associates in Crystal Lake.

Cheregi received his doctorate of medicine from Rosalind Franklin University and completed his general surgery residency at University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals. He also completed an advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Two new cardiologists, Dr. David Davidson and ​Dr. Priya Sateesha, will see patients in Huntley, Crystal Lake, Woodstock and McHenry through Centegra Physician Care.

Davidson specializes in cholesterol management, cardiovascular risk management and cardiac testing. He received his doctorate of medicine from Rush Medical College and completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago.

Sateesha is board-certified in nuclear cardiology. She received her doctorate of medicine from the Alpert Medical School at Brown University and completed her cardiology fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago.
