Clean slate

To the Editor:

I am supporting Bill Prim for McHenry County sheriff. After researching our options for this race, Bill Prim is by far the most mature, honest and competent person to hold this high office in our county. I am excited for a new sheriff who is qualified and has excellent plans to make the sheriff’s department run more efficiently, and hold down the expenses.

Meanwhile, our current sheriff’s department has been subsequently raising its expenses each year, not to mention the various lawsuits that have plagued this department’s administration. These scandals are a huge embarrassment to McHenry County overall. Bill Prim will be a clean slate for our county. With solid experience as a police commander, he is perfect for the job as McHenry County sheriff.
