RINGWOOD – Wetland birds are the topic of this month’s Lost Valley Venture.

Hosted by the McHenry County Conservation District, the family-friendly program includes a nature lesson, game, activity and, if weather allows, a short outdoor exploratory hike with staff.

The program will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. March 22 and 29 at the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road, Ringwood.

The Lost Valley Venture program will explore “Life in Log” in April and frogs in May.

No registration is required, and all ages are welcome.

This program is intended for families and cannot accommodate organized groups. Youth groups should call Prairieview Education Center at 815-479-5779 to schedule a program for their group.
