Provenzano for clerk

To the Editor:

In this election, there is a great difference in the candidates running for county clerk.

Nick Provenzano has served as my County Board member. He is very knowledgeable and able to help his constituents when they have issues that affect them directly.

His opponent has not even finished her first term on the County Board and is looking to run an entire department such as the clerk’s office. My understanding is she has been unable to fulfill her responsibilities as a County Board member. Why would we elect someone who runs for office, gets elected and doesn’t show up?

Maybe she should concentrate on doing the job she has been elected to before asking for more responsibility.

I know Nick has the integrity, skills and desire to serve to be the next McHenry County clerk. Join me in voting Nick Provenzano for McHenry County clerk.
