To the Editor:
Bill Prim for sheriff. This county needs a new leader at the top, a person with some common sense, experienced with leadership and a proven track record of being a good cop. No controversy.
Larry Smith for County Board. A successful business owner, who will represent all of McHenry County, most importantly District 6. His opponent (Ersel Schuster) voted for a Hebron gravel pit that should be lakefront property right now, voted against small business, and voted against a grant for Harvard’s school district. She is anti-District 6. Time to get her out.
And for governor, my friend Dan Rutherford. He is a hardworker, starting as a kid in the family restaurant, another 25 years as a successful businessman. As treasurer he has cut 10 percent from his budget in less than four years. He’s so conservative he throws nickels around like manhole covers.
Please vote for these candidates, along with Nick Provenzano.
