Paying for nothing

To the Editor:

I am glad that Andrew Zinke is so conscientious that he wants to warn everyone about Bill Prim getting ready to double-dip into county funds.

However, days ago Prim already stated that he would not and would sign a pledge that he wouldn’t. Hey, Zinke, that’s sure keeping up to speed – three days late.

But since you brought the subject up, how about this?

Keith Nygren has been collecting pension from Crystal Lake for how long now? Over 15 years?

His double-dipping sure didn’t seem to bother you. But then, according to you, you have been running the show in his absence since 2010.

He makes over $150,000 per year. Four years in county funds paid out for nothing. Doesn’t that bother you? This is way beyond double-dipping.

In fact, since you have admitted it, you are knowingly helping perpetuate a fraud.
