To the Editor:

Tuesday’s election can bring new talent, fresh ideas and renewed open government.

Three candidates offer this possibility: Jeff Thorsen for treasurer, Bill Prim for sheriff and Nancy Gonsiorek for County Board District 3.

All three have demonstrated through previous years of public service their honesty, integrity and experience to excel in the respective elected positions sought.

Bill has 27 years of service and leadership in federal law enforcement and as a police commander. He will restore public trust and operational efficiency to the sheriff’soffice to protect our public safety.

As a Crystal Lake councilman, Jeff has demonstrated his leadership and courage to make tough fiscal decisions. His 26 years of management and banking experience ensure he will make an excellent treasurer.

As a CPA and school board member, Nancy will bring invaluable skills to the County Board in addressing fiscal and audit-oriented issues.
