MCC offers introductory computer training

McHENRY – McHenry County College’s Workforce Training Program is offering computer training and introduction to computers for older adults, dislocated workers and others with little to no previous computer experience.

Welcome to the World of Computers is a five-session course from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays, beginning April 2 and ending April 30.

The fee is $345. Use course ID NTC S15 007 when registering. This course will be repeated on Wednesdays from 5:30-9:30 p.m., beginning May 7 and ending June 11 (course ID: NTC S15 008).

The second course, Welcome to Microsoft Office 2013, is a way to learn how to use Office 2013 for beginners. It will be from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning April 2 and ending April 30. 

The cost is $345. Use course ID NTC S31 002 for the evening class. This class also is scheduled during the day, from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays, May 14 through June 18 (use course ID NTC S31 003 for the morning class).
