WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock branch of the Secretary of State's office is closed for the day due to a power outage, Spokesman Dave Druker said.

The outage extends beyond the branch to surrounding areas in the strip mall, Druker said. Thirteen customers in the area are effected, according to ComEd's online outage map.

Druker said the office is hoping to be able to reopen in the morning. In the interim, customers are being redirected to the next closest locations: Elgin, Libertyville and Belvidere.
