CARY – Construction on a new animal hospital in Cary can move forward.

The Village Board last week gave its approval for the Cary-Grove Animal Hospital to build a location at 374 and 404 W. Crystal St.

The animal hospital still needs to request a building permit, said Christopher Stilling, director of community and economic development.

Dr. Fritz Trybus, owner of the Cary-Grove Animal Hospital, plans to move from his Fox River Grove location into Cary.

Construction work will probably start within 45 to 60 days, with the animal hospital opening by the end of the year, Stilling said.

“It’s a great project,” Stilling said.
