To the Editor:

I recently completed my Eagle Scout project – a split-rail fence at the Nature Center in Crystal Lake.

It was a very involved learning process. Something that greatly impressed me was the tremendous support of the community.

I would like to thank Culver’s; Little Caesars; Menards (especially the contractor desk); Ed’s Rental; Country Donuts; Crystal Lake Walmart; Ann Viger of the Crystal Lake Park District; Mr. Fiorina of the Nature Center; Mr. Paulsen of Crystal Lake City Hall; Mr. Ralph Gebert of The Salvation Army; Mr. Scott Larimer, Mr. Tom Lotito and Mr. Scott McCabe of Boy Scouts; Mr. Cullotta of Calogero’s Pizza; my friends; and my family.

As you can see, it takes a great many people to get a project done. Thanks to everyone who helped make my project a reality.
