High schoolers to perform Velveteen Rabbit story

McHENRY – The story of the Velveteen Rabbit will recreated at the McHenry Public Library.

Students from the McHenry High School theater department will preform the classic children's tale during "The Velveteen Rabbit Reader's Theater" at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the library's meeting room.

The program is free, and children must be 3 years or older and accompanied by an adult.

Registration can be done in person at the library’s Questions Desk, online at www.mchenrylibrary.org or by calling (815) 385-0036.  The library is located at 809 N. Front St. in McHenry.
