CRYSTAL LAKE – A 17-year-old bicyclist remains at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge a day after she was involved in a crash with a car.

Andrea Davis of Lake in the Hills was airlifted to the hospital Wednesday with injuries that were not life-threatening after her bike was run over and she was ejected, Crystal Lake police said.

An update on her condition was not available.

According to police, Davis was riding a bike about 5:53 p.m. Wednesday on Westport Ridge at Ackman Road when she entered the path of a 2006 Lexus driven by 20-year-old Emily Schlimm, who had the right of way.

Schlimm was uninjured, and no citations were issued.
