Algonquin egg hunt scheduled for Saturday

ALGONQUIN – The village's recreation department has scheduled its annual egg hunt.

The event, which will have more than 10,000 eggs, is for children 12 years old and younger. Participants must be accompanied by an adult at all times, according to a village news release.

Youngsters will be grouped by age, infant through 3 year olds, 4 through 7 year olds, and 8 through 12 year olds, the news release said.

The egg hunt is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Presidential Park at 700 Highland Ave.
