EVANSTON – An autopsy is set to be performed on the remains of a woman's body that was found floating in Lake Michigan in Evanston.

Authorities say the body was found Sunday morning by someone walking along the shore near a park in the suburb north of Chicago.

Crews pulled the remains from the water, but have yet to release any identification information about the woman.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office is expected to perform an autopsy on Monday.
