McHENRY – Gary Lang Auto Group is partnering with the Johnsburg Boys Baseball League in McHenry.

The dealership has joined forces with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide new equipment, money, invitations to free instructional clinics, and an opportunity for community members to earn additional donations for the league via a test drive fundraiser.

“Youth baseball provides positive and productive life lessons for young people across America, and the Chevrolet Youth Baseball program is an extension of Chevrolet’s commitment to baseball, community and families,” said Dixie Gilmore, vice president and general manager for Gary Lang Auto Group. “Gary Lang Auto Group is bringing that same dedication to youth baseball.”

Gary Lang Auto Group will give the Johnsburg Boys Baseball League an equipment kit that includes items such as bags, batting tees, catcher’s gear, water bottles and Chevrolet Youth Baseball T-shirts. The sponsorship also includes youth clinics featuring current and former professional players and coaches, and instructors from Ripken Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.

In addition, Gary Lang Auto Group will give a one-time monetary contribution to Johnsburg Boys Baseball League. Sponsored leagues across the country will have the chance to earn additional funds as community members take test drives at their partnering dealership to help support the league.
