D-300 hosts adapted track and field event Saturday

CARPENTERSVILLE – District 300 welcomes the public to attend its fourth annual adaptedtrack and field meet at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, inside the field house at Dundee-Crown High School, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville.

Special education students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade will compete in events like the 400-meter dash, standing long jump and softball throw. An awards ceremony for the students will follow the event at 2:30 p.m.
