Marlowe Middle School hosts community night on bullying

LAKE IN THE HILLS – District 158 families are invited to attend a community night focused on bullying at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, inside Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills.

The school will host "Rachel's Challenge Community Night" that features a free presentation on issues like bullying, school violence and teen suicide.

Rachel's Challenge is a national organization focused on replacing acts of violence and bullying with acts of respect and kindness. The group was formed in memory of Rachel Joy Scott, who was the first victim of the Columbine school shootings in 1999.
