Diaper Bank’s good work

Published: Tuesday, April 15, 2014 5:30 a.m. CST

To the Editor:

I had the privilege of seeing firsthand what the Diaper Bank does when I helped them out recently.

When I saw how excited the mother of a chronically ill 30-year-old woman was to get diapers for her daughter, it really hit home for me. What the Diaper Bank does is so simple and so important. They give diapers away. They give them to the sick, the elderly, the disabled and to babies.

The only help they get to do their work is from everyday people like us, who send them donations or give them diapers to give out. This is a great organization to help. They need us, because more people than you realize need them.
