Jacobs athletic director Dan Vosnos likely will become the new athletic director at Homewood-Flossmoor when the District 233 school board meets Tuesday night.

A District 233 spokesperson confirmed that Vosnos’ name is on the agenda for board approval at Tuesday’s meeting. Vosnos said Monday he could not comment on the situation.

Vosnos, 35, came to Jacobs before the 2011-12 school year when he replaced Tom Ross. If approved by District 233’s board, Vosnos will take over at H-F on July 1.

Before coming to Jacobs, Vosnos worked for eight years at Evanston as assistant athletic director, and also served as extracurricular academic support advisor, monitoring student-athletes and working with parents, coaches and staff.

Vosnos graduated from Glenbrook South in 1997 and from Illinois Wesleyan in 2001. He played linebacker and lettered in football for all four years at Illinois Wesleyan. He earned his Master’s degree from Northeastern and a Master’s in administrative leadership from National Louis University.
