A few thoughts ...

To the Editor:

People with a brain realize the major problem with socialism is it soon runs out of other people’s money.

Society in order to prosper needs men, money and management.

Men – we have plenty, some under or unemployed.

Management and money are many times related. The brightest and hardest worker (Bill Gates, Henry Ford) probably will become rich. We need them to put the right combination together to create jobs.

Money goes where it can raise the highest reasonable safe return. It will be transferred worldwide.

We must hold our politicians’ feet to the fire so they work on the important things – not whether we should prohibit sex offenders from attending the county fair, etc. We must work together to solve problems and create an atmosphere to help.

Also, the answer to Michael Madigan’s tax on the rich is a post office box in Wisconsin. Last time I looked at gas, it was 29 cents cheaper in Wisconsin.

On our state-run, mandatory retirement savings plan? Our state-run pension plan is $100 billion in the red. I think anyone running for public office should have to pass a course in common sense before being eligible.
