MCC to offer engineering graphics course

CRYSTAL LAKE – McHenry County College is offering a blended engineering graphics course this summer.

The course, which takes place online, except for three meeting times for a group project, begins June 9 and ends Aug. 1.

The course introduces the language used by engineers, designers and drafters, to communicate technical ideas in the context of engineering design/manufacturing processes in industry. It covers topics such as technical sketching, measurement/scaling, geometric constructions, multi-view/working drawings, auxiliary projection, pictorials, solid modeling and descriptive geometry.
