Stateline SHRM to host job training presentation

McHENRY – Stateline SHRM will host a breakfast program in May titled “Building Internship and Job Training Programs” presented by Thomas Faber and Linda Kasprzak of the McHenry County Workforce Network.

The meeting will be from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the McHenry County Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry. The cost is $15 for members and $30 for nonmembers, payable by cash or check at the door. Credit card payments can be made online by May 5. Reservations can be made at stateline.shrm.org.

They will discuss rules and regulations of intern programs, how to build intern and job training programs, and how it benefits your company. The program is pending approval for 1.25 recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
