CHICAGO – Two former Cook County Board of Review analysts convicted of federal conspiracy, bribery and fraud charges have been sentenced to prison.

Federal prosecutors said Wednesday that 50-year-old Thomas Hawkins was sentenced to two years in prison and 53-year-old John Racasi was sentenced to 18 months in prison.

The two men are half-brothers who live in Chicago. Prosecutors say they accepted a $1,500 bribe in 2008 when they were on the staff of one of three Board of Review commissioners.
