LAKE IN THE HILLS - Police are looking for an individual who stole emblems off vehicles in a Lake in the Hills subdivision early Sunday morning.

Lake in the Hills police started getting calls after 7 a.m. Sunday for reports of stolen car emblems in a subdivision west of the intersection of Randall and Miller roads, according to Lake in the Hills Police Sgt. Mark Smith. A total of nine cars on several streets had emblems stolen, and another vehicle has its emblem damaged.

A home in the subdivision had its lawn lights damaged early Sunday morning, which Smith said is likely related to the other incidents.

A suspect has not yet been identified, and an investigation is ongoing, Smith said.
