McHenry offers archery lessons

McHENRY – Archery lessons will start May 1 at Petersen Historic Farm, 4112 McCullom Lake Road in McHenry.

The six-week courses for children and adults 9 years and older are offered by the McHenry Parks and Recreation Department.

Classes meet 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.

Students will be taught proper techniques on how to use a bow and arrow. All equipment is provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own.

Fee is $55 for residents and $65 for non-residents. Registration is required.
