Foreign trade forum scheduled for May

CRYSTAL LAKE – A foreign trade zone forum to inform and discover the level of interest of local businesses that import or export or are planning to import or export products in reducing costs and time spent in those endeavors will take place May 15.

The forum, which is being organized by World Trade Center-Illinois, will have various presentations, including information on the operation of a manufacturing subzone by Traci Grever of Unicarriers Americas Corp. There also will be a question-and-answer session.

The forum will take place May 15 at McHenry County College in the Luecht Conference Center. Check-in is at 7:30 a.m., with coffee and a light breakfast available. There is no charge for the  program, which will run from 8 to 10 a.m.
