To the Editor:
On Easter Sunday, as my wife and I were driving home after a busy day, I couldn’t help but reflect on a truly joyful day.
The weather was outstanding: blue sky and warm sunshine.
We started the day by going to church, a happy congregation. Then we had brunch with our daughter and her family. Then to another one of our daughter’s homes, where we were surrounded by family – our children, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Again, a happy group, and why not? Two of our grandsons had served multiple tours in Iraq and a third grandson is safely in Arizona.
Too often, I read letters to “It’s your write” complaining about taxes, bad politicians, teachers and public employee pensions, etc.
I wish I could bottle today and pass it to everyone. God Bless America.
