Chicago police: 2 dead, 3 injured in car crash
CHICAGO – Chicago police said two people were killed and three others critically injured when a car in which they were riding slammed into a concrete viaduct support.
Police spokesman Hector Alfaro told the Chicago Sun-Times that the car’s driver, a 27-year-old woman, died at a hospital shortly after the wreck about 3:15 a.m. Sunday. A 33-year-old male passenger also was killed.
Alfaro said the other passengers, including two 34-year-old women and a 31-year-old man, were critically injured and taken to a hospital.
