MCHS thank you

Published: Wednesday, April 30, 2014 5:30 a.m. CST

To the Editor:

The McHenry County Historical Society extends a big thank you to the group of dedicated volunteers from the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake, who generously donated their time to paint the staff/volunteer entryway to the museum and do some sorely needed landscaping around the building.

They also provided most of the supplies and equipment needed – and helped clean up afterward.

Thanks to efforts of Ted and Lucy Gebeau, Chuck Tinker, Kathleen Canterbury, Ray Tower, Leslie Krebs, Frank Cole, Joyce Stevenson and Phil Matthei on April 27, the building looks much better inside and out.
