McHenry Fire temporarily moves some personnel due to construction

McHENRY – With construction tying up the Route 120 and 31 intersection, the McHenry Township Fire Protection District will temporarily move its daytime emergency response personnel.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting this week and running likely through November, personnel will respond with the grass truck, fire engine and ambulance for temporary quarters at 903 Front St.

Additional equipment will respond from the district's main station, 3610 W. Elm St., as needed.

The administrative offices will also remain at 3610 W. Elm St., and residents can continue to call the non-emergency number at 815-385-0075.
