WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Police Department will target seat belt violations this month.

Woodstock Police have made "occupant restraint" violations the subject of its Special Traffic Enforcement Initiative for the month of May, according to a release from the department.

The initiative aims to reduce the number of drivers and passengers who don't comply while educating the motoring public, the release said.

The national "Click It or Ticket" campaign starts May 19.
