McHENRY – Pavement removal began Tuesday along Route 120 and will continue for the rest of the week, according to a news release from project engineers.

The work is part of the intersection improvement project for Route 120 and Route 31.

Trucks will be entering and leaving the work zone area and traffic delays are expected, the news release said.

Motorists are asked to be aware of flaggers and construction workers as they go through the construction area.
