Letters to the Editor

Sorry state for America

To the Editor:

Our community organizer president continues to govern largely against the will of the people.

In foreign policy, he is being played and made a fool by a number of world leaders, mainly Vladimir Putin, who is mocking him, thus mocking our country as he sees a free hand in his aggressive takeover of Ukraine – step by step, without a whit of worry about being effectively opposed by America, or for that matter, Europe or anyone else.

On a nationally broadcast news interview program, a respected pundit openly questioned his “manhood.”  This would be serious insult, were there any doubt about its veracity. No – he is pushover, a dilettante, lead by his wife and Valerie Jarrett.

Be it a most consequential matter, death of a diplomat or terrorist action, he is cerebral, evasive, circumspect, unfeeling and lethargic. But watch when he wants to arouse his people (monied supporters, union members or any Democrat foot soldier) to support his true causes. Then he is truly in his element, making lively, enthusiastic speeches, joking, demeaning his opposition or engaging in demagoguery and division to stir up passion.

Those are the telling occasions. There we can see what really motivates him. Not the country’s true interests, but the ideological struggle that he sees as his calling.

No wonder America’s interests are subjugated to his leftist ideology. The state of our economy and our diminishing standing in the world reflect it.

He claims all is going according to plan. Perhaps.
