Prairie Ridge grad Michael Heesch rejoins Cougars

GENEVA – The Kane County Cougars, the Cubs' Single-A affilate, announced that Prairie Ridge grad and pitcher Michael Heesch has joined the Cougars from the Cubs’ extended spring training complex in Mesa.

Pitcher Gerardo Concepcion has been placed on the disabled list with a foot injury. Today’s roster move maintains an active squad of 25 players as the Cougars continued a homestand against Clinton.

Heesch (8th round, 2012) pitched in 22 games (20 starts) with the Cougars last season, going 3-9 with a 3.78 ERA.
