Bull Valley PD plans Safety Days

BULL VALLEY – The Bull Valley Police Department is hosting Safety Awareness Days and free car seat checks the last Friday of the month throughout the summer.

Safety Awareness Days will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the new Bull Valley Dog Park, 11114 Country Club Road. The first is May 30.

According to a news release issued by the police department, four out of five car seats are installed improperly. A certified technician will be on hand to check child restraints for proper usage and fit, and any recalls.

Information the village's new dog park also will be available, including membership information.

Upcoming Safety Awareness Days are June 27, July 25, August 29 and September 26.

The event is hosted in conjunction with McHenry County Safe Kids, and other local and state agencies.
