McHenry Public Library tentatively set to reopen Friday

McHENRY – The McHenry Public Library may reopen Friday following to repairs to a broken water main.

While the drive-up book return is closed, library materials be returned at temporary book return bins placed near the north parking lot.

All library materials' check-in dates will be back-dated to May 17 no matter when the library reopens, and no fines will be incurred during that time period. A seven-day grace period will follow the reopen date.

To renew an item that was due before May 17, call the library's automated renewal line at (847) 590-8706 or log on to the library’s website, www.mchenrylibrary.org.

For more information, go to the library’s website or call the library at (815) 385-0036.
