CRYSTAL LAKE – Aleen Tiffany of Aleen R. Tiffany P.C. in Crystal Lake ended her tenure May 30 as president of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) at the organization’s 50th annual meeting.

Tiffany left the top elected position in the IDC with an extensive list of accomplishments, according to a news release.

“Aleen’s service to the IDC and the defense bar was exceptional,” IDC Executive Director Sandra Wulf said. “Leaders like Aleen are able to preserve the past while bringing new and exciting ideas to the association. Unquestionably, the IDC is better for having had Aleen Tiffany as its president.”

Tiffany has served as a member of the IDC Executive Committee for the past five years and previously served as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors since 2005. She has also served as chairwoman of the IDC Trial Academy, Fall and Basic Skills Seminars. She was named the IDC Volunteer of the Year in 2008 and has been a member of the IDC since 1993.

Tiffany’s practice includes all aspects of civil litigation, contractual risk transfer, with a primary focus on construction injury, contract, risk management and risk transfer, and related commercial general liability coverage matters.
