JOHNSBURG – Learning about food firsts with a chef is one of the programs the Johnsburg Public Library has lined up for teens.
Chef Alphonse Dente will talk about the firsts behind foods like popcorn, pizza, cheeseburgers and ice cream sundaes.
The program is planned for 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19. Free ice cream treats will be provided and one attendee will win a $25 Oberweis gift card.
These free programs are sponsored by the Teen Advisory Group at the Johnsburg Public Library, 3000 N. Johnsburg Road. They are open to those 12 years and older.
