RINGWOOD – Burnex Corp. is expanding to a new building across the street from its existing corporate headquarters.
The move will open space for the inspection/sorting department, along with capabilities to add automation lines. The company also acquired the open lot between Plant 1 and Plant 2, providing enough space to add an additional 30,000 square feet.
Burnex also has bought Diemode Tool Inc., formerly located in Genoa City. Burnex acquired Diemode’s assets, including the production tooling along with its existing customers.
Chuck Duha, president of Diemode, will join Burnex.
Burnex, a tool-and-die manufacturer, is a family-owned and operated business.
