Thanks for all you do

To the Editor:

My dad always taught me to say “thank you” when someone did something for you.

This note is Part One of a thank you note to a number of people who cross my life whom I want to know that I appreciate what they do.

These are people who contribute so much to the parish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Crystal Lake.

Thank you, Paul Komis, for all that you do, and you do so much. You are our “Energizer Bunny.” Even in the worst of weather, you make sure our parishioners can get safely into church. Each morning, you cheerfully greet whoever shows up for Mass. You have been a big help to Sandy, my wife, with various projects around the parish. And thank you, Ann Komis, for sharing Paul with the parish.

Thank you, Mike Scronce, for all that you do. You, too, are always quick to offer, “How can I help?” and then with a smile you go do it, time and time again.

Thank you, Judy Zelz, for all that you do to lead all the worship ministries. You support our wonderful priests in the celebration of the weekend masses. It is you that trains all of us. It is you that makes sure that all the needed pieces are in place. And you do it with God’s love in your heart.

All three of you model your faith in what and how you do it at the parish. You are a blessing.
