Published: Thursday, June 19, 2014 3:20 p.m. CDT • Updated: Saturday, June 21, 2014 11:52 p.m. CDT

RICHMOND – Identity theft will be the focus of an upcoming Coffee with the Chief event.

Richmond Police Chief Ciro Cetrangolo will meet with residents at 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, at the Richmond Village Hall, 5600 Hunter Drive.

The event will cover the ways consumers can prevent themselves from becoming the victim of fraud or identity theft. Residents can also ask questions and learn more about what the department is doing.

The goal of the series is to break down barriers between the community and the police department and allow relaxed one-on-one interactions between residents and the chief or other officers.
