A 63-year-old McHenry man died Monday in an accident after he was run over by a dump truck, according to the Bolingbrook Police Department.

Bryan J. Reid died after he apparently failed to secure the truck, which ran him over, at the Elmhurst Chicago Stone Co. quarry, the police department said.

Police were called to the scene about 9:40 a.m. to help a man with an apparent stomach wound.

Officers found Reid at the rear of the dump truck. He was pronounced dead about 12:45 p.m., the Will County Coroner's Office said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

After the preliminary investigation of the incident, foul play is not suspected, police said.

Bolingbrook Police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident, the coroner's office said.
