UNION – Residents can shop for vintage clothing, old music records, a cast-iron wood stove and other historical merchandise during the McHenry County Historical Society's "White Elephant" sale on Sunday, July 13.
The sale lasts from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, during the society's annual Heritage Fair near the museum, 6422 Main St., Union.
The sale offers a wide selection of mostly women's clothing from the 1950s to the 1980s. Historical items like books, music records, a turntable, cast-iron wood stove and quilting racks will also be on sale. Proceeds from the sale benefit the society.
People interested in donating items for the event can drop-off materials at the society's museum from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The society reserves the right to reject any potential donation.
