To the Editor:
I have had the great privilege of taking the Harvard Boys League, HERS League and T-Ball pictures for more than 32 years.
In the years, I have met so many nice kids and their parents. I have watched them grow up and have taken photos of their children, too.
During this time, the children always have been very respectful and kind. Whenever I see them, they will run up and give me a hug or a big smile. I truly love all of the kids and their parents. They represent a very good feeling that I have about my little hometown.
This year, I had to retire because of some health issues with my husband, Al. We will be married 54 years in July, so he is my first priority. It was very difficult to call the coaches and tell them my news. They were all so kind, as I knew they would be, because most of them are my kids since I took their pictures – either recently with their children or in the past when they were in the league.
Thank you to everyone whose pictures I have taken and your parents.
I will always have a special place in my heart for all of the kids – young and old – in my town of Harvard.
God bless all of you. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
