Lake in the Hills police reports for July 8, 2014

• Michael L. Bentley, 37, 2708 Greenwood Road, Woodstock, was charged Monday, June 9, with two counts of domestic battery.

• Graffiti was found on the roadway on Monday, June 9, on the 2300 block of Wexford Lane.

• The front windshield of a vehicle was broken on Monday, June 9, on the 400 block of Winslow Way.

• Recreation items in a brown paper bag were found at Sunset Park at 5200 Miller Road, on Tuesday, June 10.

• A 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was charged Wednesday, June 11, with aggravated battery to a peace officer, seven counts of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and underage drinking.

• Fraudulent charges were reported on a complainant's credit card on Wednesday, June 11, on the 300 block of Windermere Way.

• A firearm, ammunition and jewelry were removed from a residence on Friday, June 13, on the 800 block of Willow St.

• An iPod was stolen on Friday, June 13, at Leroy Guy Park at 200 S. Annandale Drive.

• A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene on Friday, June 13, on the 400 block of Wright Drive.

• A complainant was battered and robbed of cash on Saturday, June 14, on the 200 block of Village Creek Drive.

• A theft of three children's bicycles, three Razor scooters, one pogo stick and one aluminum bat from the front yard of a residence was reported on Sunday, June 15 on the 5500 block of Alexandria Drive.

• Tyler S. Ellefson, 19, 11345 Middletown Lane, Huntley, was charged Monday, June 16, with resisting a peace officer.

• Playground equipment was damaged on Monday, June 16 at Nature's View Park at 3866 Sonoma Circle.

• A door to a residence was damaged on Monday, June 16, on the 700 block of Mohican Trail.

• Two bicycles were stolen from a front yard on Monday, June 16, on the 300 block of Council Trail.

• A bicycle was located on Tuesday, June 17,  at the intersection of Acorn Lane and Indian Trail.

• A complainant's vehicle was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on Tuesday, June 17, at McPhee Drive and Pyott Road.

• A taxi meter and two GPS devices were taken from a vehicle on Thursday, June 19, on the 5500 block of Windgate Way.

• A security door was damaged on Thursday, June 19, on the 1300 block of Cunat Court.

• An electronic device and paperwork were taken from a vehicle on Thursday, June 19, on the 5500 block of Windgate Way.

• A vending machine was damaged on Friday, June 20, at Barbara Key Park at 9341 Pyott Road.

• Sean C. Stevens, 35, 1210 Burr St., Lake in the Hills, was charged Saturday, June 21, with two counts of domestic battery.

• Larue R. Bomhack, 54, 630 Regal Lane, Algonquin, was charged Saturday, June 21, with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

• Police investigated a theft of cash through a scam on Saturday, June 21, at the Blue Cow Polish Deli at 2102 W. Algonquin Road.

• A subject threatened a complainant at Saturday, June 21, on the 300 block of Harvest Gate.

• Kevin M. Kniesel, 28, 12 W. Acorn Lane, Lake in the Hills, was charged Sunday, June 22, with two counts of domestic battery.

• Police investigated a sexual assault on Sunday, June 22, at Lake in the Hills Elementary School at 519 Willow St.

• William J. Rzeszutko, 47, 771 Parc Court, Lake in the Hills, was charged Monday, June 23, with two counts of domestic battery.

• A residential burglary was reported on Monday, June 23, on the 600 block of Wedgewood Circle.

• Tricia M. Vasis, 43, 6065 Lucerne Lane, Lake in the Hills, was charged Tuesday, June 24, with two counts of domestic battery and endangering the life of a child.

• Elliot E. Landeros, 22, 322 Woodside Drive, Carpentersville, was charged Wednesday, June 25, with possession of marijuana under 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding.

• Police investigated a sexual assault on Wednesday, June 25, on the 1000 block of Burr St.

• Police investigated the unlawful use of a complainant's debit card on Wednesday, June 25, on the 0 block of Harvest Gate.

• A complainant's tires were slashed on Thursday, June 26, on the 2800 block of Brisbane Drive.

• Chiedozie I. Okafor, 21, 10021 Riverside Drive, Huntley, was charged Friday, June 27, with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and disobeying a stop sign.

• Golf clubs and fishing gear were taken from an unlocked vehicle on Friday, June 27, from the 0 block of Pershing Ave.

• A 34-year-old man was bit on the thumb by a dog on Friday, June 27, at Village Creek Drive and Acorn Drive.

• Melanie E. Moore, 18, 905 Surrey Lane, Sleepy Hollow, was charged Saturday, June 28, with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and speeding.

• Kyra M. Flynn 18, 530 Old Oak Circle, Algonquin, was charged Saturday, June 28, with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

• Hannah P. Rakow, 18, 730 Council Hill Road, East Dundee, was charged Saturday, June 28, with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

• Tessa L. Obert, 18, 560 Old Oak Circle, Algonquin, was charged Saturday, June 28, with unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

• Graffiti was found on a sidewalk on Saturday, June 28, on the 5600 block of Danbury  Circle.

• A complainant was robbed of several items on Monday, June 30, at the intersection of Lakewood Road and S. Annandale Drive.

• Justin M. Reiner, 18, 1608 Brompton Court, Crystal Lake, was charged Tuesday, July 1, with underage drinking.

• Aaron E. Pittner, 19, 1181 Amberwood Drive, Crystal Lake, was charged Tuesday, July 1, with underage drinking.

• Alyssa A. Conway, 18, 324 Old Country Way, Wauconda, was charged Tuesday, July 1, with underage drinking.

• A complainant became the victim of an internet scam on Tuesday, July 1, on the 600 block of Anderson Drive.

• A citation was issued on Wednesday, July 2, at Quick Mart at 61 Polaris Drive for sale of tobacco to a minor.

• A citation was issued on Wednesday, July 2, at Grove Mart at 4231 W. Algonquin Road for sale of tobacco to a minor.

• A 28-year-old man was bit by a dog on Friday, July 4, on the 600 block of Anderson Drive. 

• Christopher D. Sargent, 28, 5 Haverford Court, Algonquin, was charged Saturday, July 5, with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with no headlights.

• An iPad was found Saturday, July 5, in Avalon Park at 5395 Avalon Lane.

• Kim A. Householder, 61, 1215 Pine St., Lake in the Hills, was charged Sunday, July 6, with two counts of domestic battery.
