Tater Tot Casserole

2 pounds lean ground beef

1 10-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup

1- 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese

1/2 onion, diced

1 2-pound package of frozen tater tots

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown ground beef and diced onion until meat is cooked through.

Drain grease and spread mixture in the bottom of a 13-by-9-inch pan.

Spread soup on top of beef mixture. Cover with grated cheese. Top completely with tater tots. 

Cover with foil and bake covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 15 minutes.
