Car windows smashed in McHenry driveway

McHENRY – The windows of a car parked in the driveway of an Oak Drive home were smashed in early Monday morning, police said.

McHenry police responded at 2:50 a.m. to reports of a loud bang, the sound of breaking glass and a car alarm, Deputy Chief John Birk said.

The incident is still being investigated, he said.
