HAMPSHIRE – Hampshire pitcher and shortstop, Trey Schramm, has committed to play baseball at Division-I Xavier after the 2015 season.

Schramm hit .261 with 12 RBIs this past season, as a junior, for the Whip-Purs. He also went 2-1 pitching, striking out 41 batters over 31 2/3 innings, while allowing two earned runs all season.

"Xavier was the first school I visitied, and I fell in love with it," said Schramm, who will be a pitcher at Xavier. "I thought they gave me the best opportunity to get on the field and contribute right away. I have had alot of support along the way, and wouldn't have been able to continue my baseball career without everyone believing in me."
